In celebration of America’s 250th Birthday, Volition America and Marino Jeep are proud to launch a nationwide initiative honoring the heroes who defend our freedoms and represent the very best of the American spirit.

Americans across the country are invited to nominate a veteran, active duty service member, or nominate themselves by sharing their story and explaining how their choices, actions, and service represent the values that make America strong.

Marino Jeep has generously donated a custom 2026 Volition America Jeep Wrangler that will be awarded on July 4th.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

We are not simply looking for hardship stories.

We are looking for Americans who made difficult choices, chose service over self, and continue to inspire others through how they live their lives.

APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT:

• A written story sharing why they or the person they are nominating deserves to be selected

• Basic military service information

• Contact information

RECOMMENDED STORY LENGTH:

• 500 to 1,200 words

TELL US:

• What choices shaped their journey

• Why they chose to serve

• Challenges they have overcome

• How they demonstrate leadership, resilience, and character

• How they impact their family, community, or fellow service members

• Why they represent the spirit of America

• Why being selected would be meaningful

SEMIFINALIST MATERIALS

Applicants selected to advance in the review process may be asked to provide additional materials including:

• 3 to 5 photos

• Short video submission

• Military verification documentation

• Additional background information and interviews

VIDEO GUIDELINES:

• Recommended length: 1 to 3 minutes

• Smartphone videos are acceptable

• Professional production quality is not required

• Videos should authentically share the nominee’s personality, service, and story
